Photographic Collecting
My main interests as a photographic collector are photographic literature, trade catalogues, company documents and records and photographic journals and periodicals to facilitate my research into British photographic history, mainly relate to my research interests. I am currently cataloguing and ordering my library.
I have collected or been given a small number of cameras over the years, usually cameras which are British and I find interesting, for example, the first all-plastic camera A.P.M.’s Rajar No. 6 of 1929 and brown and black models of the Coronet Midget (1935).
I would be interested in acquiring:

- Photographic manuals, Books and publications pre 1870 especially 1840s, 1850s and 1860s editions
- Trade catalogues from 1840-1920 from any British companies and firms and including advertising sheets and price lists as well as bound catalogues of goods, from camera makers, plate and sensitized goods makers, studios, publishers and retailers.
